My friend is sleeping beauty
Yesterday I went to my youth club and like normal it was really good, I had a lot of fun and things happened as usual that I'm going to tell you about. As you know I'm a leader so this means that I have my own small group. A small group is basically what it says on the tin it is a small group of girls in my case that I talk to as part of the program. Basically after the talk questions are put up on the screen which I have to ask my girls. I have the year 8 girls but some of my year 9 friends have wormed their way into my group because and I quote their "group is dead" , I didn't really have a problem with this but sometimes these girls can be a bit hard to manage.
They are all super loud and love to get off topic so most of the time we don't end up answering the questions but at least we have good banter. Anyway in my small group my friend (let's call her candy) was really tired that night and she had already fallen asleep once during the program. What was funny was the fact that one minute she was sitting up and laughing and the next she was lying on the ground fast asleep. It literally took her less than a second to fall asleep and she was out cold. By this time we had pretty much finished our small group and so were just socialising.
Because we were upstairs on the balcony, when we decided to go downstairs we had to wake her up as we couldn't just leave her there by herself. I thought at first that she was just pretending to still be asleep when I poked her face several times but this was not the case. Even when two of my friends were sitting on her and I was still poking her face and trying to feel her pulse to see if she was alive, she still didn't wake up. I stayed with her for a little bit when the others went down but since I couldn't get her to wake up I decided to leave her so that she could rest.
After about two minutes of being downstairs she must have woken up by herself because she came down. When she came up to me I told her what we were doing to wake her up and she just seemed confused because she didn't feel anything. I think that she either must have been really really sleepy or a really deep sleeper. It was quite funny though because she was literally like a log and wasn't moving at all while we were sitting on her and poking her.
Anyway the rest of the night was quite funny because one of my friends got prank called by some boy and she was freaking out because she didn't know who it is. Some of my other friends were still drooling over that guy that everyone thought was buff but that I didn't. It was actually hilarious to see him during the games surrounded by all of my friends and he was the only boy there. Other than that the night was cool and I had to present some of the games which I don't normally do. Also I had an argument with some boy who is friends with my friend and that was entertaining because I think he knows now not to mess with me lol.
