Talent shows and Tantrums

For those of you who don't know I go to a youth group every week and I am a leader there (not officially yet though as I'm still completing the training course) anyway it's really fun and new things happen every week so I'll always have a fun story to tell you about it on a Saturday. So at the moment we are holding a talent show called The Voice which is just so, so original and my friend Hannah had to re audition for the semi finals in order to get through to the final. Basically long story short during the games the finalists were announced and she found out that she didn't get through.

She was not exactly upset about it but she certainly wasn't happy either. It was only about halfway through the night and after finding out the news she started saying that she was going to go home because the talent show was the only reason that she came. I somehow managed to get her to stay but soon after the games had finished I turned around to see her striding towards the door. This left me quite confused as I didn't actually think she would just leave me like that. To say the least I was quite dumbstruck as I searched around for my other friends so I wouldn't be alone. At the time I didn't think it was that funny but now looking back the fact that she threw a tantrum is quite amusing. Hannah is actually older than me, she's in year 13 and she's normally so cool and collected so I wouldn't have expected something like this from her. Hopefully she'll come back next once her bruised ego has healed a little bit, if not for me but for her potential bae. Lol.

The rest of the night was quite amusing as I hung out with some of my younger, crazy friends, I basically had to stop my friend from chasing this boy around the room because he annoyed her which was unsurprising as they have a sort of love hate relationship. I also had to endure the vast majority of my friends telling me how this guy was really buff, which I didn't quite agree with as he is a lot younger than me. It was actually very entertaining to have them fight about who was going to be his bae and who knew him the best considering that most of them barely know him. Overall it was a pretty typical night at youth and it was loads of fun. In the future you'll get to know about all the crazy things that we get up and hopefully it'll keep you entertained and give you a couple laughs.

In a french speaking exam you need to know how to speak french

Hey guys I'm super sorry that my posts haven't been that consistent I've just been a little swamped by trying to start my revision for my mocks. On Monday I had my French speaking exam (the one I didn't prepare for) so I wanted to tell you how it went. Basically that day I was already quite sad that I was back at school but to make it worse I had an exam that I hadn't prepared for, that I couldn't just wing. I was so nervous about it that I was shaking while trying to get in some last minute revision. Need to know information for choosing A levels part 1

At my school we have a thing called a careers interviews which is where you talk to a lady about all the different options that you have post 16. I found this to be very interesting and helpful as it made some things a lot clearer. I thought I'd share some information about it in order to help any of you guys out there. 1. Most Universities want you have a facilitating subject. I'm sure most of you have heard this word being thrown around and this has got you into a panic because you think that you will have to take classes that you don't enjoy.
